What was the highlight of Navarat Heritage Hotel

Very Good

Perfect location: right next to the good-sized night market, and right on the river road. Excellent location to walk around and exercise. The river has lots of activities very close by and the general area is great fun for kids.

The room had a musty smell which is typical for the older Thai hotels given the tropical weather. Otherwise it was quite clean. No swimming pool, which is disappointing as other hotels in the area at this price range all have hotels. The breakfast was extremely limited and had no Western type food at all aside from toast and fried eggs.

Good

The reception staff were welcoming.

The morning breakfast staff insisted on wearing gloves and masks during breakfast. It's seem the hotel has not quite moved on from the scared nature of COVID.

Enjoyable stay at the hotel, helpful staff.

Nice clean room. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good breakfast. Not too far from night markets, with lots of food choices.

The bed was rock hard.

Great Value

I've reviewed this hotel a number of times in the past, so a lot of what I might way is just repeating my earlier reviews. All in all, this is an excellent hotel for its price range. Everything is right: plenty of parking, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The best thing about this hotel is that it's right next to the night market, so we've never had to scramble for food. The city has recently revamped its night market, so this visit was a special treat for us. The rooms are spacious, everything's clean, and they even gave us four bottles of good drinking water.

My only complaint about this hotel is that the breakfast buffet really really needs help. The range of dishes was extremely limited, with very little in the way of Western food. Even the Thai food selection was lacking. My wife (who is Thai), didn't even finish her rice soup, a breakfast staple in Thailand.

Good quality hotel. The staff were fiendly and helpful. Location was nice. Only 100 meters from Night Market area and river. Safe parking in hotel yard.

OK for short stay. Breakfast not bad.

Quite old hotel, not too much comfortable or clean. Even it was not expensive, I can say that i expected higher level of comfort and style. One day back I was in other hotel, that for same price offered much higher standard.

A very good location just 500 mts of less from the night market. You can choose from any of the food stall and take to a table and sit to eat. The Thai people are so friendly when YOU talk with them but very few speak English buts that’s the fun part. And not for to the Historical Park. If you will need to go with a tour or a Thail speaker

Decent restaurant for evening meal

Ordered room service on arrival.the receptionist didn’t place the order I had to go down and remind them after an hour! Bad smell of drains in room 302 Reception staff seem to be badly managed ..a lot of standing around talking...seemed a bit clueless .

I stayed some times already at this hotel and everything is generally fine. The hotel is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and bed, free wifi provided, complete breakfast, parking

I must mention a great disturbance on the day of my stay. The hotel is not really at fault for the event but the town authority that have organised or approved a very noisy event just in front of the hotel. Customers had to support a crazy sound and stupid animation from 18h to midnight, that is not what you expect when you book a room for a night rest during your travel from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and cannot rest. The hotel should had informed me of this scheduled noisy event during my one-night stay.

Good firm bed - which you either like or hate! The very efficient and reasonable laundry service The housekeeping team - excellent! The location

Breakfast - so disappointing. The only aspect I would be critical about. Not only from a western perspective (which would be unfair for a property in this part of the country) but my Thai partner was of the same opinion.

The hotel was clean and had good services.

The price of the transfer to the historical park was exorbitantly high, the driver would not not take us to the seven eleven quickly, the staff did not speak good English and were not really helpful. And the bed has been the hardest one we've slept on in Thailand.

Nice hard bed just like at home,good easy check in and restaurants within easy walking distance as was the market. Breakfast was ok but we had a very good meal the night before so just toast and coffee for me. We were just passing through on our way to Ayutthaya but we would definitely use agian.

The bathroom light starter flashing in the middle of the night we thought it was some kind of alarm at first but all ok, nothing else to dislike.

Friendly staff, nice room, very clean, good parking. Breakfast was reasonable.

The mattress was quite hard, would be nice if they use a bit softer mattress.
